The Angel is the perfect venue for your special occasion.
Our wedding packages are all inclusive including drinks on arrival, a traditional wedding breakfast, wines with the meal, Champagne for your toast and an evening buffet.
The martini bar and restaurant will be yours for the entire day and the river and bridge are only a short walk for your family photographs.
Weddings at the Angel
Nestling amongst the rolling Northumbrian Countryside, it's very hard to believe that the historic town of Corbridge is only 19 miles from the city of Newcastle. The Angel of Corbridge has been a coaching Inn since 1726. Visiting us, you'll soon discover the Angel has a wealth of traditional charm and Northumbrian style. With our warm and relaxed atmosphere and friendly experienced staff, you'll have all the help you need to plan and celebrate your perfect wedding day.
Our restaurant is both elegant and spacious - sporting a characterful pitched roof with exposed oak beams. A truly superb venue which comfortably seats up to eighty guests. Our catering and beverage packages are tailored to suit individual taste and budgets. However, specialist menus and bespoke packages can be created exclusively if you so require.
Staying at the Angel
The Angel's en-suite bedrooms are all luxuriously furnished and decorated to an extremely high standard. There's plenty of opportunity to unwind downstairs in our large and lively hotel bar, which offers a warm and friendly atmosphere and truly excellent food all day long.
Our spacious hotel lounge provides comfy armchairs and a roaring log fire - the perfect spot to relax with a morning coffee, or perhaps an indulgent High Tea.
The Angel's new Martini and Wine Bar is conveniently located next to the restaurant - an ideal location for you and your guests to enjoy a glass of fizz or a martini cocktail prior to the main event.
